In recent years the Asian Community have discovered Lakeside. Our sheer size and wealth of adaptable facilities ideally lend themselves to these events. We can offer two suites:

Guests may use their own caterers, but Lakeside can offer details of suitable companies.
Our prices are based on your caterer providing all cutlery, crockery, table cloths, chair covers (if required), staff & food.
Facilities:
THE CABARET SUITE
Seating - Up to 800 persons seated on round tables of ten.
For parties of over 800, we can convert the table plan by using up to 100 refectory (oblong) tables. This will incur additional charges.
Theatre style seating may also be used.
Tables, chairs, general lighting, a supervisor and one dressing room are included in our prices. Additional facilites such as P.A. systems, projectors and screens are available but at extra cost.
We also offer the use of our kitchen for warming & frying pre-prepared food.
(We regret that due to health and safety regulations, guests are not permitted to use our servery area & upper balcony.)
THE CANAL SUITE
Seating - Up to 350 persons seated on round tables of 10.
Tables, chairs, basic lighting, one Lakeside supervisor and one small dressing room are included in our costs.
Kitchen facilities as above.
GENERAL CONDITIONS.............................
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Our bars can be open and staffed if you wish to use our "pay as you go" system, however, you may bring in your own alcoholic drinks on payment of corkage fees.
Clients may bring in their own soft drinks at no extra charge.
CONDITIONS OF USE OF LAKESIDE KITCHENS
Lakeside kitchens cannot be used for cooking. Our kitchen equipment is only available for either warming or frying pre-prepared food.
Outside caterers must provide their own kitchen porters, cooking oil etc. After the event, all rubbish must be removed from ALL areas. (Skips are available on site). The kitchens must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
HEALTH & SAFETY AND INSURANCE
All matters concerning health & safety, hygiene & fire regulations must be strictly adhered to. Outside Caterers should be suitably certificated & carry their own third party insurance against accidents and injury arising whilst on Lakeside premises.
CATERING BOND
A bond of £250-00 is payable for the use of our kitchens as described above. This bond is refundable if our rules & conditions are adhered to. However in the event of non-compliance, we may retain all or part of this amount.
